Tranquil Setting, Romantic Spring Wedding
On a beautiful day in May, Marissa and Mike decided to exchange vows in front of a crystalline pond of The Farm at Eagle’s Ridge. The Farm at Eagle’s Ridge is an especially picturesque venue in Lancaster, perfect for spring weddings!
The Farm at Eagle’s Ridge sits on a beautiful countryside in Lancaster County Pennslyvania. The farm includes a spacious, refurbished barn that’s perfect for inside and outside events. The Corn Crib is another wonderful outdoor space that offers wonderful views of the Lancaster countryside. Furthermore, the Stone Farmhouse, built in 1820, serves as a great space for year-round events.

The spring wedding was designed by some of The JDK Group’s best. Event Producer, David Everett, and Event Specialist, Molly Unangst, executed the romantic luxe theme effortlessly.
Marissa and Mike had the brilliant idea of this family tree! Then, JDK provided the ribbons from which to hang the special family photos.
JDK absolutely packed the spring wedding with detail! The intricate table settings jumped off of the tables themselves. The bare wood complemented the interior of the barn.

Fresh Springtime Food
Of course, JDK provided tons of different fresh foods for Marissa and Mike’s spring wedding! It started with butlered hors d’oeuvres, from rich Caprese Pipettes to fresh Shrimp Cocktail!
That was only the beginning though. A huge arrangement of different food stations were set up for the 150+ guests. First, a slider station that included both our Miniature Sirloin Pub Burgers and Crab Cake Sliders. Then, a hearty pasta station with a choice of two different sauces and toppings. Finally, a distinctive Lancaster Cheese & Charcuterie Station!
The client and Executive Chef Jay Varga collaborated on the choice of cheeses, including a pungent Triple Crown Goat Cheese. The meats were totally unique; Jamon Serrano, Chorizo Pamplona, and Sweet Coppa. Marissa opted for Strawberry-Cucumber Mojitos, while Mike decided to go with the classic Moscow Mule. Both served as refreshing cocktails for the beautiful Spring day. Additionally, JDK staff lined up to serve the guests champagne after the ceremony!
All of this led up to a dinner course that included a fresh Caesar Salad and a dual entree Petite Grilled Beef Fillet and Airline Chicken Breast.
If the guests weren’t full after that, then the Assorted Miniature Desserts would fill them up! Fig Pies, Sweet Potato Donuts, and Bourbon Pecan Apple Egg Rolls all tempted guests after dinner, and they were hard to deny.
Marissa + Mike’s Spring Wedding
A wedding is only as beautiful as the bride and groom. Marissa and Mike looked stunning on their big day!
There were a lot of collaborators that helped commemorate the wedding, in addition to The JDK Group. Planned Perfection and talented photographer, Jeff Frandsen, were there every step of the way! The Baker’s Table provided the excellent cake, which complemented the wedding perfectly. Shumaker brought the elegant draping that suspended above the dance floor. The Farm at Eagle’s Ridge provided a ton of tables, chairs, and styling packages for the wedding.
The Rollex Band provided awesome music throughout the evening. 3 West Productions also provided music and sound equipment for the wedding.
