The second in our series “Meet the Event Planners” Abby Roche is our own personal Bond Girl. No, not a plaything for James Bond, but the York, PA event planner for our industrial chic venue<\/a> called The Bond. Abby has been described as upbeat, unflappable and calm – exactly who you want in your corner if you have a big event to pull off.<\/p>\n

Q  If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A<\/strong>  I would love to be able to teleport! I travel a decent amount since most of my family lives in Scranton, and I have a lot of college friends in Philly. I get so<\/strong> sick of driving all the time! If I were able to teleport it would make life so much easier.<\/em><\/p>\n

Q If you could choose to do anything for a day, what would it be? <\/strong><\/p>\n

A<\/strong>  I’d be Beyonc\u00e9. She\u2019s basically my alter-ego, and I would love to see what a day in the life of Beyonc\u00e9 is like!<\/em><\/p>\n

Q  What did you want to be when you were little? <\/strong><\/p>\n

A<\/strong>  A Marine Biologist. I was obsessed with dolphins and whales when I was little! I remember my parents reading me books about the ocean as opposed to your typical children\u2019s books because it\u2019s all I wanted to hear about. The ocean still fascinates me. I think it\u2019s so cool to think about this whole other world under the sea that we really know nothing about.<\/em><\/p>\n

Q  Name one thing on your bucket list. <\/strong><\/p>\n

A<\/strong>  <\/strong>To stay in one of those over-the-water bungalows in the Maldives or somewhere in French Polynesia. I think it would be so cool, like you\u2019re in your own little world out in the ocean.
